As education policy moves into a brave new world of data-driven decision making, the nuances of Teacher Evaluation are even more ambiguous than philosophical musings.

The future of public education will co-evolve with “teacher observation protocols” and “value-added measures” and if either of these two terms are unclear to the administrators, board members, or the faculty of your school or district, you need to catch up.

I offer consultation or workshops on present models and the overall language that will begin permeating the system. The state of NJ is now offering districts a choice among these models of teacher evaluation.
